The White Crater Bowl is a beautifully textured piece that is covered in character with its unglazed ‘cratered’ exterior and contrasting high-shine interior.
With its interior glazed, the bowl is watertight making it equally functional and eye-catching. This Crater bowl is crafted from stoneware using traditional handbuilding techniques by a local ceramic artist.
Use it as a hold-all for jewellery or keys, a cradle for a candle, or as a stand-alone work of art.
Angeliki Stamatakou is a ceramic sculptor based in Athens, Greece. In her series of works, large clay sculptures serve as pure evocative artworks as well as functional pieces such as vases and candleholders, blurring the lines between utility and art.
