JESTOR BROOCH
ZOSMA’s Jestor Brooch balances high-spirited colour with a grounded sense of place and living history.
Cotton, rayon and silk combine with brass beads and a heart-shaped copper tama (a type of votive offering in the Orthodox Christian tradition) to form something both culturally significant and freely joyous.
This brooch aligns with ZOSMA’s approach to contemporary folklore, where meaning emerges through locally-sourced symbolism and material.
Born in New York in 1983 to Austrian and Greek parents, Theodor studied at Central St. Martins College in London before working for Vivienne Westwood both in the UK and
Japan and later on Zara in Spain. He moved to Greece full-time in 2019 to create his own label, INTELLECTUAL LEISURE, sold in his boutique ZOSMA on Tinos island.
Theodor’s work explores identity, heritage and stereotypes, often involving a witty sense of humour and irony. He works with natural dyes and sources his materials and productionlocally.
Lorem ipsum, or lipsum as it is sometimes known, is dummy text used in laying out print, graphic or web designs. The passage is attributed to an unknown typesetter in the 15th century who is thought to have scrambled parts of Cicero’s De Finibus Bonorum et Malorum for use in a type specimen book.

Avoid excessive moisture to ensure the brass maintains its colour.
