PINK EYE BROOCH
Pink Eye is a brooch composed of traditional Greek symbolism and a playful decorative character.
Built from silk, rayon and cotton and punctuated by a brass eye tama (a type of prayer offering left at icons in Orthodox Christian tradition), the shape and presentation is graphically direct and colourful.
The brooch draws on ZOSMA’s continually developing interest in contemporary folklore and locally-sourced materials to create a sentimental and joyfully vibrant statement piece.
Born in New York in 1983 to Austrian and Greek parents, Theodor studied at Central St. Martins College in London before working for Vivienne Westwood both in the UK and
Japan and later on Zara in Spain. He moved to Greece full-time in 2019 to create his own label, INTELLECTUAL LEISURE, sold in his boutique ZOSMA on Tinos island.
Theodor’s work explores identity, heritage and stereotypes, often involving a witty sense of humour and irony. He works with natural dyes and sources his materials and productionlocally.
Lorem ipsum, or lipsum as it is sometimes known, is dummy text used in laying out print, graphic or web designs. The passage is attributed to an unknown typesetter in the 15th century who is thought to have scrambled parts of Cicero’s De Finibus Bonorum et Malorum for use in a type specimen book.

Avoid excessive moisture to ensure the brass maintains its colour.
