Jasmine Deporta (b. 1989, Italy) is a visual artist based in Italy.
Jasmine’s themes explore corporeality and identity. Her work is introspective and reflects on her surroundings and interpersonal relationships. Through photography she looks to create situations within which she can perform and interact intuitively, which encourage coincidence and give space to the present.
Her rural upbringing triggers her fascination towards a trivial, ‘everyday’ symbolism and aesthetic, which results in visual imagery that preserves natural and raw honesty. She has been part of solo and group exhibitions in Berlin, London, Tokyo, Switzerland, Greece, and Italy.
