ATHENS MEMORY
The Athens Memory ceramic sculpture is like a curled stone flower shaped by tides and time. Its soft twists frame a quiet hollow and its surface holds a constellation of tiny pores that echo weathered rock and sea-worn shells. Light gathers in the recessed folds, creating a calm shifting rhythm reminiscent of Athens’ winding city streets on a summer day.
Athenian ceramicist Angeliki Stamatakou shapes stoneware clay by hand. She guides the material from idea to final firing, treating every stage as a continuous artistic gesture. Natural texture becomes an active element, each irregularity bringing the piece closer to the landscapes that inspire her.
Athens Memory works as a contemplative accent, pairing well with clean surfaces or dark finishes. A small, intentional terrain of memory and depth.

Lorem ipsum, or lipsum as it is sometimes known, is dummy text used in laying out print, graphic or web designs. The passage is attributed to an unknown typesetter in the 15th century who is thought to have scrambled parts of Cicero’s De Finibus Bonorum et Malorum for use in a type specimen book.

This ceramic candleholder is handmade and should be handled with care. To remove accumulated wax, use a soft cloth and gentle movement. Its rough unfinished surface will catch on fibrous materials. Dusting is sufficient to clean it.
