The Platinum River Vase is an unassuming khaki surface, like the dried earth of a distant desert, but on closer inspection it begins to glint. Shattered and woven together by platinum kintsugi lines, a river of light flows across the surface.

Angeliki Stamatakou is a ceramics artist based in Athens, Greece. Her work includes unique sculptural decor objects, vases and centrepieces.
She uses stoneware clay employing coiling, wheel throwing and sculpting techniques for her ceramics.
She owns the entirety of the creation process, from the conceptual stage and design to the pottery-making, sculpting, painting, glaze-making and firing.
Her main source of inspiration is nature, which she finds is full of treasures of various patterns, textures and shapes.
