Martina Matencio, born in 1989 in Vilanova i la Geltrú, Spain, is a well-known Spanish photographer. Her work is distinguished by its intimate and emotional approach, focusing heavily on the human form, especially through depictions of the feminine body. Matencio discovered her passion for photography at the age of 16 during a family trip to Cuba, and she began pursuing it more seriously in her twenties. She studied photography at the Serra i Abella School in Barcelona, where she honed her technical skills but developed her unique style through experimentation and personal exploration. Her aesthetic is often described as ethereal and delicate, emphasizing natural light and subtle emotional depth
