Born in Northeast China and currently based in Shanghai, Xue Jiang received both her BA and MA in Photography from the Polish National Film School in Łódź. In 2019, she joined Erasmus Program at HFGK in Germany for one year of study.
Working across photography, photobooks, installation, and moving image, she explores the relationship between subject and object, engaging with questions of identity and the boundaries of existence. Her practice reflects a lasting fascination with the dynamics between objects and space, often leaning toward the surrealism.
