This ethereal wrap dress is an exclusive collaboration piece between House of Shila (HOS) and Lefko, and part of the Mona collection. The collection takes its inspiration from our beloved Mona, drawing upon her spirit and idiosyncrasies to create pieces that embody it.

Handmade from white crêpe-de-chine silk from the Greek town of Soufli, a historical hub of Europe’s silk industry, this dress is envisioned as an echo of Mona’s balance of raw beauty and sensuality. Its strappy wrap design allows for some personalisation. Playing with the strings at the waist and back let the wearer customise shaping and fit.

The Mona dress is also perfect as an alternative wedding dress for those looking for something out of ordinary. This particular type of silk weave is known for its combination of luxuriousness, high comfort and breathability. Additionally, the back straps are finished with subtle pearls on their ends.

Our collaborator Lefko is renowned for their ethical production practices, with all of their items being made across Athens in Greek-owned ateliers by local artisans. The Mona dress is no exception  –  each one is also made in Athens.

This piece is a collaboration between House of Shila (HOS) and LEFKO.

HOS is a creative studio in the pursuit of aesthetic pleasures, and LEFKO a fashion label self-described as ‘a love letter from Singapore to Greece.’ Everything within the collection is handmade in Greece and stems from a relationship described by the collaborators as ‘a journey of creativity.’

This collection pays homage to the spirit and characteristics of the Mona building in Athens, drawing inspiration from its raw simplicity and translating them into exclusive pieces that champion ethical fashion and local craftsmanship.

Lorem ipsum, or lipsum as it is sometimes known, is dummy text used in laying out print, graphic or web designs. The passage is attributed to an unknown typesetter in the 15th century who is thought to have scrambled parts of Cicero’s De Finibus Bonorum et Malorum for use in a type specimen book.

Dry clean only in order to preserve the natural lustre and quality of the silk.

Avoid exposure to direct sunlight for extended periods, as this can cause fading. Store in a cool, dry place, preferably folded or on a padded hanger to maintain the dress’s shape. Avoid contact with perfumes or deodorants, as these can stain the fabric.
