ORGANIC VASE
The Organic Vase from Myrto Patramani is shaped like a natural formation, recalling a root, stone or large shell. Its contours bubble and fold with irregular, tactile surfaces emphasising material and natural presence. Muted greys and earthen tones create subtle shifts in colour that enhance the sense of depth and form.
The vase can accommodate flowers or stand alone as a sculptural object. Its substantial, grounded shape makes it a striking yet unobtrusive choice, seamlessly bridging natural looks and functional purpose.
Myrto Patramani is Cretan visual artist based in Gothenburg, Sweden. She holds an Integrated Master’s degree from the Athens School of Fine Arts and is a current ceramics MFA student at HDK-Valand Academy of Art and Design under the NEON Scholarship program.
In 2020, she received a residency and scholarship through the Stavros Niarchos Foundation and Siena Art Institute (SNF-SART) program, and has completed two Young Artists in Residency (YAIR) programs at Guldagergaard International Ceramic Research Center in Denmark.
Her sculptural works and installations, crafted in clay, metal and textiles, explore symbolic connections between objects, humans and nature, drawing inspiration from Greek mythology.
