Lydia Roberts, b. 1994 in England, is an artist and photographer now based in the South of France. She has been consistently producing work since her teenage years, drawing inspiration from her changing surroundings and experiences. Roberts has a strong focus on the human form, exploring it through various mediums and styles. Her work strives for a sense of timelessness and an otherworldly quality. Her love of experimentation brings a playful approach to her process, allowing her to instinctively respond to different creative environments. Her flexibility has allowed her to explore different avenues, including photojournalism, street photography, and album cover art. Her work has appeared in notable publications around the world, including the New York Times, True Photo Journal, T Magazine China, and the Journal du Dimanche.
